Kinematics Officially Announces Tenchi Muyo! GXP: Paradise Begins Anime
I know back in August, Kajishima-sensei said there was some GXP/Paradise War anime project happening. Now, we have an official announcement from anime production company EXNOA (Kinematics) announced the green light for Tenchi Muyo! GXP: Paradise Begins (literal translation was GXP: Paradise Start-up Edition — 天地無用！GXP パラダイス始動編). Here’s the announcement video.

Since making the video, I’ve learned that the new series will almost certainly NOT be adapted from any GXP novel. Instead, it will bridge the gap between the GXP novels and the Paradise Wars novels. That means that there will almost certainly be a high entry bar for the anime, similar to Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki OVA 4 and Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki OVA 5. That’s rather unfortunate for us non-Japanese fans.
