As many of you Tenchi Muyo! fans know, KAJISHIMA Masaki has written a new novel entitled Paradise War. Well, thanks to Wikipedia Japan, AJM, and translator Clyde “Tomato” Mandelin, we now know a bit more about this new novel, specifically the characters and such. So, be sure to pop over to the new Paradise War FAQ and check it out. ^_^
I think what surprises me most is that this is more closely linked with GXP than with TM!R. Indeed, it would seem that in the aftermath of what Seina did with the pirates in GXP, some sort of survival competition was set up. Otherwise, I can’t imagine why three pirate guilds and Jurai would have reps doing whatever on Banjo Island.
If anyone finds any additional information about Paradise War that can be sourced, please do let me know. And as always, if you are a bored Japanese translator, there are plenty of things needing translated for the FAQ. ^_~
Thanks for the hard work dude! Hopefully we’ll see cameos by the main Tenchi cast too.
Does the caps mean Shou is supposed to be the mc’s family name? I can only read kana but it seems to be his given name over at the Jap Wiki.
You know, I think I may have misread the translated version. I didn’t look at the Japanese version again after I got the translation and I should have. ^_^;
. kudos for this.
. masaki kajishima didnt actually write this novel.
. its good manners to also update the english wikipedia when you get stuff translated from the japanese version that isnt in english yet. not to slight your site but more people visit wikipedia.
1) Thanks.
2) I know he had another writer — he usually does. Do you know whom that is?
3) I don’t have anything to do with Wikipedia so…^_^;
I would be interesting to learn the hair color of the other characters, especially if they are red or green or blonde.
Also, that remark about shaking the universe, I can think of two male characters in the Tenchiverse that shake the universes, and neither were Seina Yamada
This week Kajishima Masaki search reveal the Paradise War III is schedule for release at the end of May.
Ah. Sweet. Thanks for the info. I did get the first two books, so I’ll add this to the list.
