There are people with a lot more Tenchi knowledge than me, primarily since they can read Japanese AND English.  As such, they’ve read much of the additional Japanese materials such as the Kajishima doujinshi and the Kajishima novels.  So I thought I’d get some of them to write stuff, especially since they write a lot for the MSG board.

The Mysterious Akara Naja by Oni_Shin — Before there was Kagato, there was Naja.  Learn all there is about her in this well-sourced article and read some of Oni_Shin’s speculations concerning her.

Tenchi Muyo! Timeline by Nomura-san, edited by Strannik —   (additional contributions by various people)

The Royal Trees of Jurai by AstroNerdBoy — The Royal Trees are the power that makes Jurai so great, but what exactly do we know about them?  (contributions by True Sheol, Watotsu, and Mary)

Washu and the Bioroids by AstroNerdBoy (with various contributors) — Ever wonder the story of Washu’s life prior to her being found as an infant 20,000-years ago?  Well, some of those details have recently been uncovered, which may also be of interest to Dual! fans.

Kajishima-sensei Speaks About Ryoko’s Gems translated by Yagami Makibi — Kajishima-sensei answers a large number of questions about Ryoko’s gems.  While this interview is over 10-years old, it is still very good.

Kajishima-sensei Web Q&A translated by R-Balouta — Kajishima-sensei has been asked questions over the years, which used to be hosted on a Japanese website (now defunct).  Those Q&A’s will be housed here. (Updated 08 June 2007)

Tenchi Meets Misaki in the Future: OAV 3 Episode 6 Extra Scene translated by Quon — Taken from the Kajishima Onsen doujinshi Omatsuri Zenjitsu no Yoru – Tenchi San-ki #6, see the informative scene from 19th overall canon TM!R episode that did not get animated.  NOTE! This article is very image-heavy and contains images that may not be safe for work!

HASEGAWA Naoko’s Introduction to Senkyaku Banrai: Ai no Hexagram translated by Unknown — A translation of Hasegawa-sensei’s introduction to her first Tenchi novel One Visitor After Another: Hexagram Of Love.  This gives insight into her role in OVA 1 as well as Kajishima-sensei’s role.

Kajishima-sensei’s AIC Comic Love interview part 1 & 2 (rescued from the defunct AIC site) — Done in 2001 and officially translated by AIC for their website at the time, this interview discusses the then still to come Tenchi Muyo! GXP and Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki OVA 3.

Kajishima-sensei’s AIC Comic Love interview part 3 (rescued from the defunct AIC site) — This is the third and final part of the 2001 interview, officially translated by AIC for their website at the time. This interview discusses the then still to come Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar (or as it was preliminarily known in Japan as Seikishi Monogatari, before eventually being called Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari), Tenchi Muyo! GXP and Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki OVA 3.
